Joyce Craig Announces Key Public Safety Endorsements
MANCHESTER – Today, Joyce Craig announced that the Manchester Police Patrolman’s Association and the Manchester Association of Police Supervisors endorsed her candidacy for Mayor of Manchester.
“Joyce has been a strong leader in Manchester and we are proud to endorse her candidacy for Mayor,” said MPPA President Ken Chamberlain. “She has shown a history of being supportive and has demonstrated a willingness to listen to our concerns about issues in Concord that affect our ability to keep Manchester safe. We need a Mayor that will make public safety a top priority and are confident that Joyce will provide the support we need to keep our streets safe.”
“Throughout her time on the Board of Aldermen, Joyce Craig has repeatedly proven that public safety is a top priority,” said Rich Brennan, President of the Manchester Association of Police Supervisors. “Our forces have been short staffed, and in the past Joyce voted to hire more officers and improve public safety. She has a proven record of supporting our law enforcement officials and we are proud to endorse her candidacy for Mayor.”
“I am honored to have the endorsement of the Manchester Police Patrolman’s Association and the Manchester Association of Police Supervisors,” said Craig. “We are fortunate to have a professional and diligent police department in this city. I have listened to constituent concerns about safety, which is why I voted last year to increase our police force to 237 officers. Moving forward, I will continue to work closely with our public safety officials to keep our streets safe and make Manchester a destination for families and businesses.”
