School Board Election
Manchester Alderman at-Large Joe Kelly Levasseur has said he will nominate Girard at Large host Richard Girard, a former Alderman at-Large, mayoral candidate and Charter Commissioner, to fill the seat vacated by former at-Large School Committeeman David Wihby. This morning, after gathering more information on the circumstances that led Levasseur’s announcement, Rich said he won’t allow his name to go forward. He also had something to say about what to expect from former Assistant Superintendent and Beech Street School Principal Nancy Tessier after her appointment to the board, which is now assured.
