(Hour 2c) You won’t find history like this being taught in our public schools. Unfortunately.
James Patrick Riley of Courage NH fame gave us a history lesson on the biblical principles that our Constitutional Republic was built on.
Unlike today, God was not removed from the public square in Colonial times. In fact, God was widely accepted as a guiding light for holding elected officials accountable.
Riley explained how the moral authority that needed to be granted to their leaders was one in the same with the moral authority granted to revolutionaries when tyranny needed to be countered.
Riley questioned today’s lax Voter ID laws in states like NH and wondered why our sacred right to vote is not stringently protected.
