(Hour 1b) Sonya Broulidakis is a candidate for NH State Rep. in Manchester’s Ward 12.
The stay at home mother of five children is new to the world of politics. Why is she running? A 13-year old talked her into it!
Broulidakis has a definite opinion about public education, charter schools, “pro-union” teachers, the “insane” Manchester Academic Standards, Common Core, the economy, the death penalty and abortion.
She had an interesting personal story to tell about abortion and has a unique strategy in making it unnecessary, instead of illegal. Sonya Broulidakis, Candidate for NH State Rep

The Federal Govt funds Planned Parenthood to the tune of half a billion
dollars each year. You can look this up on PP’s annual report.
NH funds PP at more than 1 million annually. Since the NH Executive
Council voted to cancel the contract with PP in 2011 and was
overruled by the feds, Hassan has taken the helm, and with the help
of Van Ostern (who benefited greatly from the timely gerrymandering
of his district), she made sure PP received NH funding in
addition to the federal funding PP was awarded out of spite for the
EC’s decision.
Late term abortion is legal in NH – right up to birth – and is done at DHC Lebanon.
PP in Manchester does approximately 25 abortions every Thursday. That’s
100 lives lost every month, and hundreds more lives that will never
be the same as they deal with the aftermath of the decision that
ended the life of a family member forever…and that’s just the
damage done by one clinic in NH.
All abortions are unnecessary. There are always resources –
financial and other means of support available. The obvious one is
adoption, but I wonder if the women walking into the clinic know that
the people on the sidewalk outside stand ready to find them housing
and social services, re-connect them with family / friends who will
support them, throw them a baby shower with all they will need for
the first year of their baby’s life, and even link women to post
abortion counseling resources – all for FREE. Probably not,
since so much PR time has been given to making them look like
terrorists so that PP can go on doing “business.” It’s
really a shame that more effort / money isn’t put into supporting the
efforts of the people on the sidewalk (who provide these TRULY
compassionate services FREE of charge) instead of railroading women
into abortion clinics and telling them it’s their only option. Only
about 1 out of 100 “turn around”…but we haven’t had a
single one come back to us and say she regretted having her baby!
