The deliberative session on the Hookset School Board’s proposed budget wasn’t without those who had tough questions. The stunned looks and stumbling answers were topped only by Board Vice Chair David Pearl’s appearance at the microphone that simply crushed the board for the actions it took in creating and settling the tuition contract dispute with the Manchester School District.
