PROACT Search received 78 applicants for the position and presented the top 11 to the Search Committee. Initial skype interviews took place with 8 of the top candidates and, of those, they have recommended the above three finalists to participate in a two-day interview process in the district.

“We were very pleased with the high quality of applicants that expressed interest in the position. We had a great candidate pool with great experience and track records to prove it,” said Gary Solomon, CEO of PROACT Search, the company that is conducting the search.

The finalists will participate in a two-day on-site interview process next Monday and Tuesday, March 25th and 26th. The days will include interviews and meetings with various groups of staff members and business and community groups, school visits, and a community forum. The process will end with each of the candidates having a 60-minute interview with the School Board.

A decision on the next Superintendent of Schools is expected to be made before the end of March.
