Jim Gaudet is a retired NH law enforcement officer whose career spanned twenty four years in the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, the Amherst, NH Police Department and the Litchfield, NH Police Department. He spent fourteen years primarily conducting criminal investigations and prosecutions. He was also an adjunct instructor at the NH Police Academy. After retiring in 2007, Jim went to work for Associated Grocers of New England as the Loss Prevention Officer, where he is responsible for all loss prevention functions at the corporate office and distribution center in Pembroke NH as well as at the company’s Harvest Market, Vista and Sully’s Superette markets.
Jim is a graduate of Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH, where he met his wife. He is married and has four daughters. In his “spare” time, he is a genealogist – serving as a volunteer and Board member at the American Canadian Genealogical Society in Manchester, NH and is a “patched” softball umpire and can most often be found during the season on a softball field doing high school or recreation games. He has done four regional championships and two World Series qualifiers, and hopes to be invited to officiate a World Series.
