The Host: Rich Girard

Richard H. Girard is a well known and highly respected public figure and opinion maker in southern New Hampshire. A native of Manchester, NH, Rich has devoted the past two decades of his life to serving and educating the community about the critical issues in local politics and government.
Rich’s diverse background includes running for and holding public office, providing leadership and management for other candidates’ political campaigns, extensive experience in the public and not-for-profit sectors, being sought as a political commentator by media outlets across the region, and having started and run three businesses, including this one.

The Sidekick: DJ Dave Martinez

An Indiana native, David S. Martinez has lived in New Hampshire since 1977.
A 1984 graduate of Manchester High School West, Dave is a former corporate nomad, who worked for various financial, retail and restaurant outlets and also owned and operated DJ's Deli & Subs until selling it in December, 2008.

The Weatherman: Al Kaprielian

Simply mention his name and you can expect to hear countless stories from people across the state who have either grown up with, or watched this treasured NH icon. His endearing presence and signature delivery style have even garnered him his own Facebook fan page. Girard at-Large is proud to bring back beloved Meteorologist, Al Kaprielian to the center stage of southern NH.
For over 25 years, this highly-respected, award-winning meteorologist has graced the television and radio airwaves, delivering his highly-accurate weather forecasts to the citizens of New Hampshire.

The Producer: Steve Messa
Steve Messa is a Manchester native. After receiving a B.A. in Communication from the University of New Hampshire, he pursued a M.A. in Liberal Studies, where he researched the ways in which digital media influence the 21st-century landscape of music production. Girard At Large is Steve's entrance into the universe of radio and live broadcasting, and he looks forward to bringing local media back to Greater Manchester with such a dedicated and passionate team.
