(Hours 2a,b) We were joined again this morning by retired Southside Middle School principal Rich Girard, who we interviewed yesterday (Click here for the archive post). He continued to deal with the drug epidemic. He started by talking about parents who are dealing with the problem at home and answered what he would do if he were still a principal today. They talked about the change in mentality behind who is responsible in the classroom.

(Hour 2b) Rich and Rich continued the conversation by talking about some of the kinds of changes that parents should be looking for in their children. He answered questions about the schools role in dealing with the problem and shared about what he did in regards to the problem. He also shared about their goal to get parents involved.
