This morning Mayor Ted Gatsas joined us for our weekly segment with him. Rich dove into the hour long interview by asking the Mayor about last night’s (6/9) meeting of the Board of Mayor and Alderman about the budget. He asked the Mayor about his criticism of Alderman Craig last night. Tune in to hear the Mayor’s response. Rich started off the second segment asking the Mayor about the ‘Heroin Task Force.’ “We can’t arrest our way out of this,” former Police Chief Mara is quoted as saying, referring to the drug issue.
Alderman Long made a suggestion, at last night’s Board of Mayor and Alderman, to use the $120,000 surplus to support the Hope NH organization. Rich inquired about the Mayor’s opinion.

The Mayor took a moment to alert us about tonight’s Dancing With the Rising Stars, which is being hosted by the Moore Center. Rich talked to him about the Police Union, and other aspects of the Manchester budget meeting. And finally, they hit on the Steam Ahead program.
