Gatsas responded to Rich’s questions about the Manchester Academic Standards and urged parents to make their voices heard in the process. Mayor Gatsas got us up to speed on the latest STEAM Ahead NH developments and initiatives for 4th graders to visit the Sea Science Museum.
On sending guarantees to the Hooksett School Board, the Mayor turned the tables and suggested that maybe elected officials in Hooksett need to realize there’s nothing that says they can’t continue to send their kids and more.

Gatsas discussed a potential deal to move UNH Manchester to the new & improved Pandora building. Something the Mayor believes would be good for the City.
Also, poker machine licensing fees and the considerable revenue they generate for the City. Is it time to unplug the machines permanently, despite the $$$?
