(Hour 3c) Former Bay State Senator Scott Brown called in from the campaign trail.
Too busy for NASCAR races, Brown commented on recent endorsements by Senator Kelly Ayotte and Governor Mitt Romney. “Can you imagine where we’d be if Romney was our President?”
Brown discussed Romney’s inability to mobilize the conservative base in his campaign for the Presidency. Will Brown suffer from the same fate? What is his plan to unify the GOP?
Brown discussed the bipartisan work that he engaged in during his time in the Senate.
He also described incumbent Senator Jeanne Shaheen as an idealogue and “rubber stamp” for President Barack Obama, voting with him 99% of the time.
“We need to make Harry Reid the minority leader in the US Senate and be the checks & balance for this President.”
Brown hammered Shaheen & the Democrats on Obamacare.
“They want you to believe that Obamacare is the only answer. We need to repeal it and send it back to the states. State legislatures, business leaders, hospitals… all need to be part of the process. I’m looking forward to being part of that process.” Visit Scott Brown for US Senate For the text of Brown’s speech given in acceptance of Romney’s endorsement, click here.
